The British Society for Developmental Biology (BSDB) and the British Society for Cell Biology (BSCB) PhD and Postdoc reps, along with The Company of Biologists, are organising a careers workshop for early-career researchers on Monday the 24 March, from 12:00 to 15:00.
The early-careers researcher event will focus on career opportunities both inside and outside of academia. Bringing in professionals from a diverse spread of career paths to discuss how skills developed during post-graduate study and the start of your research career can be applied in a number of different roles. The event will promote networking among fellow ECRs ahead of the conference and provide opportunities for participants to discuss career possibilities with speakers and other attendees.
There will also be food and drinks in the evening following the main conference’s welcome reception for those who have attended the workshop.
